    FSU/Maryland - Weather info
Haven't seen anyone else mention anything but I'm seeing Hurricane Karen (or whatever the name is) is set to hit the state of Florida early AM on Sunday. Id imagine the weather being overcast/rainy and extremely windy.. Anyone on here down in Florida know what the expected weather is supposed to be like at kickoff? I was planning on taking FSU on the spread and will probably go bigger if I know this will be a grind it out game on the ground. Thanks in advance!

I'm about 200 miles east in Jax, but I don't expect anything significant in Tally until early Sunday morning. I agree with your assessment of taking the Noles in a grind it out type game.
The noles D is having difficulty adjusting to the scheme of new coordinator Prewitt & I'm not sure I'm ready to lay 15 or more to a talented offense and good coach off a bye week.
Also, as an FSU alum I can tell you that the home crowd will probably be awful. We generally don't show well for noon kickoffs with 100% humidity while planning hurricane parties.

I live in Tampa, weather will be a non factor in this game. I'm taking the points here.

As a Clemson fan, I'm looking forward to watching this one. But I won't be betting it.

Not sure why you would want to lay 15 points in a grind it out type of game, if that's what it became. Florida St. has a greater chance of covering the spread if the conditions accommodate a passing attack. They have the receivers to burn the young Terp secondary more than a few times, which is why I'm on the Over. If you're laying points with FSU, I wouldn't want any high winds or precipitation negating your advantage through the air.
