Why is Charlie Weiss still at Kansas? He's done nothing for their program. You would think he would at least have a positive impact on their offense.

how can you say you were/are a huge turner gill fan and say that kansas was so bad with him.....HELLO IDIOT he was only there for 9 months, 1 football season and they fired him. hell he barely had time to unpack....penetrate kansas and thier whole football....no wait...make that thier whole program. my opinion is they are racist and never gave the black coach a chance then you go hire charlie who has won shit, he has shown that he is not worthy of being a head coach anywhere. now when kansas ends up with the same record as last year lets see if they fire charlie.Comment -

gojets is right, Kansas was not racist in any way. The Kansas program dramatically went rapidly downhill with Gill. If they are racist, why the hell would they hire him and give him a multi-year contract which they are probably still paying on? It makes you wonder that people who complain about Gill's firing might not have racist thoughts of their own.
There were some character issues with Gill which sped up his ousting. If Gill is ever a head coach at a D-1 school again, I will be shocked.
Turner Gill DID NOT turn Buffalo around. He was the beneficiary of an unbelievable talent group from the recruiting of the PREVIOUS head coach.
Gill was a great college QB in his time. He is NOT a good head coach.
