Maybe you should be asking, why was Wisonsin even running another play instead of kicking the fukking Field Goal.

It's not the officials fault that the HC is a dumbazz.

With that said Tripper don't you agree there was an official-mishap on that last play?! The official particularly interfered with the spike play. I had no money on this game, but watching that ending was disgusting.

The ball was snapped with 18 seconds left... I'm not sure that they would have been able to get set to spike the ball. I don't even think the ball would have belonged to Wisconsin... looked like he laid it down and the ASU player got on it, because the whistle hadn't blown.

One thing I am sure of, is that the Wisconsin coaches seriously fukked up.

I posted this before but in order to center the ball, spike the ball and kick a FG takes 3 downs. Each down takes at least 5 - 7 seconds. You have no timeouts, that's stupid. Even if each down takes 3 seconds (highly unlikely), you still go from 18 to 15 seconds, to 12 to 9 seconds. So you kick the FG with 9 seconds ideally but your right tackle moves by accident on either of those downs... 10 second run off due to the penalty. Game over.

You do not have enough time to run 3 plays with the new 10 second run off rules. Just kick the FG right away and get the hell out of there. If you don't have a kicker that can hit a chip shot from either hash, you don't deserve to win the game anyway. People talking about the refs but what about the Wisky player that went out of bounds to get the ball down there in the first place.

Plus, look at the QB Staver. He was in no hurry the entire time. The only delay of game was by him. He must have thought the clock stopped when he layed it on the carpet like an idiot. Look at him. He never even looked up at the clock. He kept looking back to the ref and on the ground. Zero field awareness and didn't care the clock was running. By the time he looked up at the clock there was only 2 seconds left. How can you blame that on the refs or the guy lying on the ball? Get your head out your ass and move with urgency.

You guys are nuts, the refs totally blew the game... did you see how those cowards high tailed it off the field, not explaining why they allowed Ast to lay on the ball, then the ref held it for another 5 seconds before spotting??!! The immediate reaction of the officials after the field was stormed tells it all...that's small time High School Sht - guaranteed these JackAsses will not be calling a game for a while...thank god I had the points....ridiculous ending to a great game

There was 18 seconds left, you run that play 100 percent of the time.

I think the refs were a little confused when the Wis QB took the ball and went to his left a few steps, he didn't take a knee, he just put the ball down between the hash markers...In that case, the Ref personally still needs to pick up the ball, place it back down and then play can start...The refs could have moved a little quicker, however, when you are on the road with 80,000 people screaming...You kick the stupid FG with 18 seconds left..

The ball was never "downed". The QB never took a knee, he just placed the ball on the ground. The ball was still alive since it wasn't downed, so ASU jumped on it. ASU ball. Game over.

Huh?? Have you even watched the replays? His knee was clearly down. I won regardless because i had Wisconsin teased u to +12.5 but still wanted to see the game officiated correctly. Wisconsin deserved a shot at the fg.

I just saw the replay and the knee was so quick, I can see why it was missed. I think the coach and all other coaches need to address this. The ASU player did what he was coached to do-play until the whistle.
