and it's not like the ref didn't know what was happening.. The Badger player was asking him to spot the ball and the ref is telling him no you can't snap it.

Ref all the way to the left in the video also agrees. He pointed to the ground with 10 seconds left and the main official still refused to spot the ball until it was 00:00.

Even if it was a turnover, the clock stops on change of possession....followed by booth reviews of the play.....none of which happened.
