What's with the trend of shitty QB's at elite schools?

First it was that Gilbert kid at Texas. I watched Driskel and Wittek completely roll over and die today for Florida and USC. These guys are awful.

What gives lately? Why are these kids so highly-rated coming out of high school, yet so awful at the collegiate level?
