Got a good squad, probably will go undefeated, but have absolutely no chance at playing in the championship since they won't face a top 40 ranked team this year.

If they were the only team to run the table, they have more than a decent chance to go to the big game. Polls LOVE undefeated teams...

Two one loss SEC teams would make it over UL if undefeated.

That schedule is too brutal. They only have 1 or 2 more games that will be televised. Id put a team with 2 losses in the Pac12 or SEC in before Louisville..

Which teams will that be? Georgia is already in the hole, 0-1. Florida's schedule is brutal, as is LSU's. TAMU's defense is a work in progress and they're unlikely to exceed 9-10 wins, IMO.

Alabama is the only team that you can really consider to be likely to win 11+ games. South Carolina is probably the next best candidate, but would then likely need to win the SEC championship game vs Alabama to remain a one loss team.

And they were not impressive in their win yesterday.

They dominate florida last year in the sugar bowl, they have a bonifide Heisman candidate in bridgewater, and there already ranked high!

they will just slowly move up as other teams stumble, they are already on peoples radar.

If they are the only team to run the table, they will play for the title

if they go undefeated and don't have any of those letdown games where they end up escaping defeat to a average to bad team... they should get their shot in the title game.

teams not even close to be a lock to run the table.

this ohio team lost half their starters (3 ol), theyll be in the middle of the mac this year.

rutgers ucf houston cincinnati all capable of beating them.

thats not even throwing in a bull shit loss like connecticut at home which happened last year

Right here! Louisville is much much better than the schedule will indicate. Not sure they even get contested at all this year IF they stay focused. The only 1 loss team that stays above them would be Alabama as the season goes on. They are more than worthy of a championship shot with an undefeated season.

They had 50 more yards than UF. I wouldn't call that dominant. If UF didn't turn the ball over 3 times early that game would have been very much in the balance. UF finally settled down and was making a huge comeback but didn't have enough time.

UF players didn't give a shit about that game. Half of them had eyes on the NFL draft (8 guys drafted another 7 got invites). 15 of your top players eyeing the NFL. How many did UL have??? 0

I posted this before but I'll do it again just to illustrate how awful UL's schedule is and why they won't get in the BCS title game...

Louisville had only 3 opponents win their opening game this week...

Here's who they play this year...

                            Ohio - average team
                            Eastern Kentucky - FCS school
@ Kentucky - lost to WKU, worst team in the SEC
Florida International - gave up 40 to Maryland in the first half
@ Temple - below average team
Rutgers - lost at Fresno St and allowed 52 points
                            Central Florida - average team
@ South Florida - gave up 53 points at home to an FCS school
@ Connecticut - dominated at home 33-18 by an FCS school
Houston - average to below average
                            Memphis - below average team
@ Cincinnati - only legitimate team with a new coaching staff

Congrats on your last years victory. It's a shame that you'll have to use that one game to validate this years team.

I'm gambling, don't care if a team doesn't into a more popular bowl. I just want the team to win that i'm betting on.
