Anyone have any idea on why Southern miss is favored by 8 1/2? over Texas St? From everything I have they seem pretty evenly matched. I'm thinking Texas State for the upset or at least the easy cover. What am I missing?

Well I am calling for the upset here but I will take Texas St. +8.5 to be safe. should be a good cover.
