Every year I have the idea that betting a parlay with five or so heavy favorites every week is a good idea, but I ultimately don't do it. It usually pays around a 30% return. Does anyone here do it consistently? Thanks.

I don't know how to define consistently in this context, but 5Dimes allows bettors to do rolling parlays and I usually have one going and I add a game or two each week. For the first week there are a lot of heavy favorites and this is what I ended up with (with very little research):
It pays ~@ -250. Won't make me rich, but if you can identify games where the dogs could bite and avoid the landmines you can supplement a little. I would never, NEVER, suggest trying to do this as a reliable means of increasing a bankroll or a reliable source of income. Parlays rob the bettor of value and you should never gamble more on a parlay than you would on scratch-off tickets. I have been doing exactly this for a while...You'll make a lot of money if you do it right, and you'll win OFTEN. You might have to do as many as 4 or 5 to make a buck, but I mix them up. Good idea to do a few parlays, make sure not to use same team on all parlays.Comment -
