    So Fukking Pumped...
College foots is easily the most entertaining regular season in sports. The only sport, other than soccer, where the atmosphere of the crowd adds to the game on the field. Every Saturday I sit down in a sportsbook from Sunrise until it sets watching the games. Last year I frequented the Mirage, Venetian, and the Wynn. I think I will do the same except add the Venetian, due to their free Wi-fi. Excited about the upcoming season, and want ot share my plays through this thread. Finally, I want to wish everyone good luck on their picks, and the worst of fortunes if you are on the other side of my tickets.

Now the best pre-game entrance in Football.

    Plays coming soon...

California +7 (-120) Buy the Hook.
---Northwestern is (6-8) ATS as a road fav dating back to 2004. Their latest installment as a road fav was last year, -3 @ Minnesota winning by eight. Nevertheless that was the only game they were road favs. The travel + California having the requisite time to prepare for this game should prove favorable to the home dogs here.

It's the first game of the year I can't see travel having any effect on this if that is your angle. Both teams have had plenty of time to prepare.

The travel has more to do with them being road favs in an unfamiliar environment, and California has a new coach and QB. Northwestern is playing a team void of tendencies, and relevant game tape. They will be learning as the game goes.

All NW coaches have to do is is get some film on Sonny Dykes' former team-LA tech. There they will find all sorts of tendencies. They can further evaluate personel by watching Cal's 2012 game-film. There's no doubt that Cal will improve offensively with Dykes as head coach, but I would not expect an overnight miracle. Cal is starting a true freshman at QB and their defense has major issues. On the other hand? NW has a veteran QB (and offense) and one of the most underrated coaches in football. This team quietly won ten games last year and has most of their starters back. I expect both teams to score, but just can't see Cal keeping up in this game. I predict a score somewhere around 42-31 NW. This is my opinion, for what it's worth.

This week is usually when everyone overreacts to one game results. Bettors throw away their prior conclusions for new diluted ones. In order to stay ahead of the storm of misinformation a person needs access to what was thought of the teams B4 the season started. The most accurate depiction of these thoughts are displayed on the Game of the Year lines from Golden Nugget. Every year I find the lines with the biggest discrepancy, then bet those. Yes, that is my strategy, I assume that the betting market will overreact and make bets based on what was thought B4 the teams played.

These are the Game of the Year lines
