If you read the entire entry closer, you will see that Stanford -9 1/2 has "LVH" listed under the Sportsbook heading. Utah +12 has "Golden Nugget" listed under the Sportsbook heading. That means that I played those wagers at two seperate books. Ditto UCLA-Utah, and Miami-Florida State. And you call yourself a knowledgeable bettor? Really? That is Football Wagering 101.

Nah... no reason to be pissed... I did it to myself by getting greedy. When it hit 22, I made the decision to play it at 22.5. Obviously, it never made it... because on Monday, August 12, BookMaker released the official line on all of the games and that was that.

I think VT will cover... also think the game's gonna be much closer than 70%+ of the gambling public. ( Anyway, that's what my handicapping indicates.)

I started wagering in Vegas back in 1966, the year that Caesars opened. I have been doing it steadily since 1971, some 42 years now. If you wger in Vegas, you must remember the way the Stardust was set up and run by Frank Rosenthal. I have had the priveledge of meeting a lot of so called "sharps" in Vegas over the years, but Lefty was the best that I ever knew. He could walk past a Craps table and tell if a lady was going to run or Crap out right away. He sure could pick football. He was pretty good with the ponies also.

Now the truth of the matter is that a so called "sharp" will deny that he (or she) is a sharp. Just a winner. The word "sharp" is about as misused as the word "trap" is, especially in sights like this one, where people try to expound on knowledge that they really do not have.

So I middled the game, already having Clemson +3.5. Now I have that and UGA +2. I would love to see a three point UGA win, and that is certainly within the realm of possibility.

So I middled the game, already having Clemson +3.5. Now I have that and UGA +2. I would love to see a three point UGA win, and that is certainly within the realm of possibility.

I saw that while I was at the pharmacy a little while ago. I considered middling my Bowling Green +3 with Tulsa when they were +4 but decided against it because I really like the Falcons in that game. But, should they be able to jump on Tulsa early, I may middle the game with a live line play @ BookMaker.

While it may be coincidental, I've observed that the Golden Nugget's lines mirror those from BookMaker... down to .5 line changes. That makes it easy whenever I've decided to play something there while I'm spending the day at the craps tables instead of booking it online.
