Any leans on this one? I would play SMU first half +3.5 or +3. SMU defense is way too young to back in opener.
Intriguing game though with TT possibly going with a true freshman at qb if Brewer is out, as it's sounding now.
SMU QB Gilbert cut down on his INTs end of last season,June Jones is a good offensive coach and now has this longtime run and shoot guru at his side. SMU does have legit wideouts that can hurt you, and an experienced secondary. (Front 7 is the the scary part). Both coaches LOVE pace and airing it out. 55 and up sounds like a winner also, though hesitant to take any over with true frosh qb in his first start.

June Jones does not "love pace". He plays at a very slow pace these days.

Mumme will be pushing , his offenses in past are up tempo, there will be more no huddle, though it's true Jones' previous run & gun doesn't isn't the exact same thing as fast pace. they want to throw 75% of the time. this game could get nuts,though if Brewer is out expect TT to not go full throttle.
