.... these are the teams he has doing better than the other publications at stasson.
a few that caught my eye, i like the more obscure situations both intellectually and ATS-wise. BTW, these are my comments not phil's.
2 Tulane - i think he's been on his name list a few times before. i have horrible memories of them being down 28-0 really really fast last year in a game where they were a pretty hot pick out there.... tulane and UNLV are teams that i just think should be much, much better just based on geography and host city.
4 Colorado State - very under the radar type team. completely washed out recently.
10 houston
12 marshall - i think this year's fresno state but alot of people seem to be on this angle. i think it will work out really well.
14 UCF - i thought they'd already improved.... i like USF as bounceback team in general. need to do more work to see if it's good from day 1. probably is. fresh start with great coach. and graduated QB was long-time starter but team was inconsistent at best recently.
15 UAB - a name that jumps out at me as a mid-major that could move way up.
