tons of lines i haven't even though about yet.... but assuming those are generally correct (ball park not whether they are absolutely current)......

i like northern illinois taking points in iowa. NIll should be better team. although iowa should have good HFA and people are so down on the hawkeyes. still NIll it is.

are clemson/georgia going to score 70 points? georgia didn't come near that number last year non-bowl against a quality opponent. clemson did have some high scoring games against good opponents.

I spoke to Heritage tonight and they are going to be putting out there lines in two weeks for those of you that use that book.

First of all, what is the name of the line originator that your friend owns? Secondly, there is no need to post week 2's lines because Vegas posts them normally bby 5:00 PM Pacific Time on the Sunday of the week in question. So the lines for the week of 9/14 will be posted on 9/8.

@BigDaddy---if you don't like the info, dont read it...i'm not giving my contact out, i will say he owns one of Nevada's largest oddsmaking firms and does provide some of the sportsbooks lines weekly for all sports. it's not hard to figure out who im talking about but i'm not going to say out of respect for him. If you don't believe me, that's your problem. I'm here to help the forum and bring info, just like everyone else. Take it for what it is...

I get the lines every Sunday morning before Casino's post during the season and i will be posting them. It's always good to compare with the lines that they are given and the lines that they actually post to the public.

The point is, if those are actually lines that are being given to the sportsbooks in Las Vegas, they're a joke... and that oddsmaker is going to be unemployed pretty damn soon.

Why dont you wait until the casinos post their lines before you make smart ass comments on my posts.

So if the casinos alter the lines, is it just b/c they expect more money to be on that particular side (their goal is to post lines that will create money on both sides)? Can we make any assumptions based on this data to help us handicap games?
