Simple really...has to do with defense. They beat Fla on the road 31-30, almost beat Bama on the road, smoked LSU 31-13 on the road, almost beat Wake on the road...most they gave up was 31 pts to South Car, 30 pts to Fla and Wake. Very high total as well.

one thing TT is good at, is letting it's first possesion go out, and then Leach let's Littrel select the plays to Harrell and then Littrel calls in the play at the LOS.

Watch this guys from now on. Most games this season TT starts off slow on the first possession because they try to run offset plays, with very little space.

You will find out more on this on 60 minutes when they profile Texas Tech football.

did anybody see Ciny yesterday? Looked like they would win by 80 pts. We got lucky on a turnover.

and the second possession is a touchdown. You have to watch the slot receiver. He tells the OT to crash or bash, and give the signal to seal. 5 yard routes, which pressures the FS to cover deeper than what Nutt wants because they had 3 receivers.

That's why they had 2 defenders in tight space, and if one fails to make the play, then all the TT receiver has to do is turn the corner and he has field in front of him.
