The big 12 teams everyone talked about all year what has happened to them in bowl games.

Okie St gets beat down when they play a team that a so so defense and good offense in oregon.
Texas Tech also catches a beating by a team with a good defense and good offense in ole miss


So what will happen to a Texas team with no defense when they take on a Ohio St team with a good defense and a offense that should have no problem moving the ball onTexas. The best defense Texas has face is Okie St not even in the same class as ohio st they just gave up 35 in the 2nd half to oregon. If thats not enough to take the 8 points with Ohio st I have 2 more reasons. The line starts out at Tex -10.5 they have 80% of the money on them and the line is now -8 in my betting world thats a red flag, vegas would love for all the squares to load up a little more on Texas. Last but not least, Texas thinks they should be in championship game not this one and we all seen what happened to Bama when they wanted to be in a different game. Ohio st has had to listen to how bad Texas is going to beat them for a month. I guess they will get their chance tomorrow. Take Ohio St getting more than a touchdown.

I couldn't disagree with you more. First of all.... the Big 12 is 3-2 in bowl games and the top 2 teams have yet to play. The Big Ten is 1-5. Ohio St scored 3 points against USC (yes without Wells I know) and 6 points against Penn St. So.... in big games.... against good teams Ohio St SUCKS! (see the last 2 national champ games)

Alabama did look bad. They were playing an UNDEFEATED Utah team that had something to prove and Bama was missing their best player. You can't compare that situation to this game. What does Ohio St have to play for here? Just a postseason win.... finally?? Texas has something to prove. They want to prove that THEY should be playing Florida. (you all have to agree that the system doesnt work and Texas has just as much right to play Florida than OU does.... they did beat OU and have the same record as OU) The players were told.... BEAT Ohio St convincingly and IF OU wins you will be Co-Champs. (I dont see how the AP votes Texas in now with Utah undefeated) BUT that is what the players were told. So to think they will come out flat.... mad about being in this game.... I dont see that happening. (Now TT I thought would play like crap cuz they were mad that they werent in the Big 12 Champ game, The National Champ game.... and NOT EVER A BCS GAME! and they did look terrrible!)

Anyway..... that's my opinion on tonights game. I'm currently 17-6 in the bowl games.... maybe I'm due to lose!

I don't think the last second win by ut will sway any voters to split the national championship if OK wins... it just wasn't good enough.
