    Damn Good Coach...Retires
Larry Kehres, who turned Mount Union College into a Division III powerhouse while stockpiling eleven national championships, is stepping down. Kehres, 63, had a remarkable 332-24-3 record in his 27 years as head coach of the Purple Raiders. His teams were unbeaten in the regular season 21 times. The national titles came in 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2012. His .929 winning percentage in all game is the best ever at the college level.

I don't care if one is coaching pee-wee football...to win 332 games and lose only 24 is simply amazing!

      I agree Mikmak...thanks my friend.

I heard about this program about 10 years ago and have kinda followed the program. As an old coach with some nice success, I can't imagine how this guy did this (win 9 of 10 games during his career) for so long.

I personally think Bear Bryant is the greatest coach in college football history...but damn...this guy deserves his due!
