Three Teams to Watch because of their Defense

I think each of these three teams has a good chance to win their conference this season mainly because of their DEFENSE.

Stanford (10 starters back)
Louisville (9 starters back)
TCU (9 starters back)

*TCU lead the Big 12 last season and will be better this year.
*Stanford reminds me of an SEC defense...big, strong and will strike you.
*Louisville's defense, quarterback and schedule points to a big season.

Another team in the Big 12 that should be given some props is Texas. The Horns return 9 on defense and 10 on offense.

The TCU/Texas game 'could' very well determine who wins the conference. No, you can never rule out Oklahoma but I'll saddle and ride either Frogs or Horns this season.

I'll be very surprised if Texas doesn't make a nice vertical move this year. I agree with WH, TCU and Texas should be the Big 12 front runners.

Dfish, if you are talking about Michigan State's defense then yeah, the Spartans have a chance to be pretty good. They return 7 starters on defense and 8 on offense. MSU is usually pretty good on the defensive side of the ball and probably will be this year.
