Man the Independence Bowl is probably pissed at the SEC and Big 12. Neither conference had enough teams to fill up all there bowl slots and they are stuck with these two teams.

halftime line surprised me a bit, favors illinois even though they are making tons of mistakes. maybe books want more people to jump on LA? does this mean we can expect a comeback from illinois?

Northern Illinois might be down 7 at half but overall they played better in the first. 9 first downs to La Techs 6 first downs. 101 passing yards to La Tech's 60 yards. 58 rushing yards to La Tech's 48 yards. 37 total plays to La Tech's 30 total plays. Northern Illinois has also controlled the time of possession by 7 more minutes. 2 costly turnovers are the reason why they are losing. And a kickoff returned for a touchdown. I expect this game to come down to the wire.

Man Northern Illinois should be winning this game. Pick for a touchback. Going for it on fourth and 1 from the La Tech 20. And La Tech had a kickoff for a touchdown. I definitely don't see La Tech running away with a win here.
