    Notre Dame Spring Game
If the 31,652 fans who turned out for Saturday's Gold/White game wanted to see some defense...then they certainly got their wish. The defense dominated the play with 10 sacks, 2 interceptions and a safety. The offense struggled with 1 touchdown and 3 field goals on the day.

Last year's starting QB Everette Golson was 6 of 13 passing for 98 yards and 1 pick and was sacked 3 times. George Atkinson rushed for 49 yards on 10 carries. The lone touchdown came when early enrollee QB Malik Zaire threw a 35 yard TD pass to C.J. Prosise, who witched from safety to wide receiver this spring.

Coach Brian Kelly said he wasn't concerned about the lack of production on offense, saying coaches had seen improved play throughout the spring. "If there's anything that I would like to do better, is to make certain that we don't fall back into some of the mistakes we made last year. At times today, I thought we fell back into mistakes we made last year offensively."

Notre Dame ALWAYS has a lack of offensive production. Last year was a fluke. Work, where are all of the College Football people in here? Haven't seen many at all.

Offseason I guess. Compared to other CFB forums...SBR college football is alive and well.

I'll take Quality Posters over numbers any day.

Good base here and this forum will continue to grow this offseason.
