Boise performs well in big games and this, although not a BCS game, is a big game. They will be looking to show everyone why they deserved a spot in the BCS and won't hesitate to use TCU as an example. I know everone is on TCU's uber fast defense, but there are ways to neuatralize speed and Peterson will find it. He is the better of the two coaches in this matchup so I doubt this will be a 10+ win either way. I'm not touching this game as I want to be able to watch it unbiased.

Funny how this is not one of my noted plays.HAHA!I knew as these games would roll along,I would end up playing most of them.I like to at least give them all a good look.I overlooked capping this game while I was capping the others.TCU looks like a stronger play to me than originally anticipated.At first I was just like---this is too close to call,but as I kept digging at it,it looked more and more like this was going to be a pretty big matchup problem for Boise.I hate going against them and guarantee that if this was the Humanitarian Bowl,I wouldn't.The fact that this is truely neutral and on grass really is a factor!

I think you're underrating the TCU coaching staff here IMO.I agree.It's always risky going against Boise but another factor I like is the strength of schedule advantage TCU has here.Also,since Boise is primarily a passing team,I like what TCU has done against similar offenses.UTAH-BYU-OKLAHOMA to name a few.Boise's two toughest games were Nevada and LATECH.Hardly compareable.TCU is also very disciplined as they are one of the fewest penalized teams in college football and I also like the discipline factor as I think that will help against the trick plays that Boise will undoubtedly throw at them.Boise does have the 7th ranked defense nationally,but I refer to the strength of schedule aspect again.

TCU will win this game and cover. I have a lot of respect for Boise St. and their impressive season, but I don't think they can match up with TCU's defense. Turnovers will play a big role in this game, and I think TCU will force most of them. My thoughts are 16-10 TCU.

I'm newbie here...FYI, TCU players will wear "45" stickers on their helmets to honor Sammy Baugh who died at age 94 last week. Sammy Baugh was a former TCU star (punter, defensive back, and QB), was guided Redskins to five title games and two championships in 1930's as QB. Also, Boise State beat TCU, 34-31 in the 2003 Fort Worth Bowl.

Once boise gets a lead they dont relinquish it easily. TCU isn't playing TCU ball because BSU won't let them. Boise handles these types of situations very well and won't make it easy on them. TCU will keep it close but I'm not convinced they'll win this outright. Lot of football left though.

Boise is a great run stopping team so TCU will be hard pressed to gain much on the ground especially if they fall too far behind.

Game on now.IMO.The score doesn't show it but TCU had out played Boise.4 trips inside the Boise 35 yd line and nothing to show for it.Gave Boise the one FG.TCU should have the lead.

Wow what a good game...Boise covers and as expected and TCU's defense is stifling allowing them back in the game with FG's and their running game getting it going. I don't think you could've matched up any two teams any better. A one point W is a W not for a lot of betters but indication of a well played game. Watch out for something crazy here
