2 Undefeated Bowl Trends dating back to 1996
2 strong trends here...one team I like alot...the other one needs some more research!

    1. Play AGAINST a New Years Day Bowl Team that was outrushed by 20+ ypg during the year!

    Iowa (-3/3.5) over South Carolina

    10-0 ATS since 1996

    2. Play ON a Non-New Years Day Bowl Team that has lost their last 5 or more ATS.

    LSU (+3.5/4) over Georgia Tech

    6-0 ATS since 1996

I like Iowa...Spurrier has yet to put together a decent offense (or QB) in Columbia! As far as LSU is concerned...hate to bet on underachievers vs overachievers at GT coached brilliantly by Paul Johnson but LSU does have alot more NFL caliber athletes and only allowed 3.3 ypc this year!

    GL!

Tech rushing attack will destroy LSU, I'd lay off that one

      Interesting stats.

There are a lot of such trends in currency - some are very valid, but have to weighed against other equally strong trends.

Basically, you have to be able to determine if a given outcome was the result of the stat or trend, or whether other factors played a more important role in an outcome.

But all such research is always welcome

        Here's another one!

Play on Non-NY's Day dogs of 12+ points

        9-2 ATS since 1996

Memphis (+12 on Bodog) over S. Florida

Not sure about this one either but thought I would throw it out there! USF has been one of the most overrated teams in America this year! I can remember atleast 2 nice cashes against them this year w/Kansas and Rutgers! They probably wouldn't be too fired up at a neutral site but its being played in Florida and Memphis isn't anything special either?
