A struggling offense, and a sub-standard defense is not going to keep this GEORGIA TECH offense from running all over LSU.
GT beat BCU. GT beat GEORGIA.

This LSU program we're talking about got crushed by GEORGIA and barely covered against AUBURN . They also lost to ARKANSAS. Arkansas!!!

No way LSU is going to pull this out.

Well me as a LSU fan I can tell you that this LSU team is full of talent but they really don't care about this season no more. The QB position killed this whole team. They lost confidence after noticing that there QB situation would'nt get them to a BCS bowl game. So everyone start playing with less heart. Now this LSU team hsa the talent to actually destroy G. Tech but they haven't played with that killing instinct all year. But to you I will tell you that the QB situation is solved at LSU with our TRUE FRESHMAN QB Jefferson. But the best play in this game is the Over! The over is way better than the sides.

I jumped on GTech at -3. More to play for, IMO, and the QB situation at LSU may be resolved, but I don't think you see the dividends until next season. GTech is a team I don't think many wanted to see in the bowl matchups......

I really like Georgia Tech here as well.

My thoughts on LSU are as follows: this dual defensive coordinator stuff has got to end. Their defense just looks absolutely clueless out there. The only thing Miles has done right is get a QB in there that, at least, doesn't make as many mistakes as Lee made. LSU still has some tremendous athletes but I have to question their direction.

My only concern is this: If LSU has a strength on defense, it is the D-Line. Ga Tech does not throw the ball because of philosophy. So, my question is: If LSU knows the run is coming and it is, is their D-Line good enough to slow it down and give their back 7 time to catch up and make some plays? If the answer to that question is "YES", then that is something to think about before placing your wager. If the answer is "NO", then Georgia Tech might win this by 30 because as good as Jefferson could become, he aint good enough to score 30+ on Ga Tech.

EBone, no doubt about the LSU strength up front. However, they won't be just unleashed to get after it and make athletic plays all over the field. They are going to have to be very disciplined and play their assignments against that type of offense. Big fan of Paul Johnson and I think the GTech defense doesn't get enought respect. I like GTech by 7-10 points in this game.

To the people thate reading this thread EBONE hit it right on the head. The dual defensive coordinator has killed LSU. If you watch them closely half of the players don't know the play call also it was mentioned by numerous of news reporters down here that the players dont respect the def. Coordinators. But Les Miles is currently interviewing for defensive coordinators right now. They have a couple of candidates thats out there. But next year believe it or not they should be a lot better. They were just young at the most pivotal spot on the field and that was QB. And they will have a new dcoordinator for next year. So things should be back to normal in Tigerland next year.

Zboiz, I have no doubt that the Tigers will be back. None. I think Miles learned from some mistakes this year and will only make him better and that program better. I just think that this is as bad of a matchup as they could've gotten in that bowl. A hungry team, in their backyard, with a difficult scheme, a solid defense, and the energy surrounding a new coach.

You both are right. LSU defense is bad and Les Miles has learned his lesson.

The dual coordinator situation is a huge factor. Take Florida for instance. Our defense is much improved this year with younger players on the field. Part of this is due to the skill of some of these younger players but the majority is due to the fact that Strong is the sole coordinator this season as the other guy that Meyers brought with him from Utah is gone. The previous years they split the play calling. No team can function at full potential when there are different philosophies at work.
