    LSU's New Offensive Coordinator
Guess it's great to be pals with a SEC head coach. LSU's Les Miles has named his buddy Cam Cameron as the Tiger's new offensive coordinator. Yes, this is the same guy who was fired as offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens on December 10, 2012. The same guy who was fired by the Miami Dolphins after going 1-15 a few seasons back. The same guy who is 19-52 as a head coach in college and NFL. Makes sense to me, especially after reading about his three year, $3.4 million contract.

Cameron will earn $600,000 for the 2013 season, then rockets to $1.3 million in his second season and $1.5 million the final year of the contract.

Good ole boy network alive and well down in Baton Rouge.

This 'sweetheart' deal just keeps getting better and better.

I just learned that Cameron has a $1 million buyout as part of his 3 year, $3.4 million contract. Add to that, he has $345,000 more in incentives. This deal makes Cameron the highest paid offensive coordinator in the SEC based on yearly average.

Got to wonder what Georgia's veteran OC Mike Bobo thinks. He played QB at Georgia, was a longtime assistant and has been offensive coordinator with the Dawgs for several years. Bobo made $350,000 last year.

Just is just another example of the stupidity that Les Miles is famous for. With three losses last season, has the bubble finally burst on Miles and LSU? Remember his NC team was a two loss team. USC was a much better team than LSU, but lost the vote.
