#4I've fondly thought that if you can answer one question in a particular game, you can win the side. Here's the question I'll pose:
Can Oklahoma run the ball effectively on Florida's front 7? If you answer this question correctly, you'll win your bet.
Here's my answer: I thought Alabama ran the ball effectively against Florida. I think there was good play calling mixed in there as well. Overall, though, the stats say Bama ran the ball 33 times for 136 yards. Not bad at all. If Oklahoma can sustain that kind of average against Florida as well, then Oklahoma will win the game. My gut says that they will run the ball as effectively as Alabama did. Therefore, my conclusion is: Oklahoma on the moneyline.

Oklahoma will not win this game with the type of defense they play! They are not aggresive enough. Look how Florida fought against that stingy defense of Alabama. Only look at defense for this game. Defense wins championships.Comment -

#8I wasn't trying to rile you up, ZBOIS. I seriously can't argue with the fact that Florida has the better defense. Point taken. Sorry if my post above was read differently than my intention.

Also Stoops, he lost to West Virgina last year in the BCS, USC in the BCS, LSU in the BCS, and Boise St in the BCS. The guy don't have a good resume in the big games.Comment -

I agree that Florida has a better D as Brandon Spikes is one bad dude and Oklahoma is starting their 3rd MLB as Ryan Reynolds and Austin Box are out with injuries. However, Florida has not faced an Offense anywhere near the level of Oklahoma.
Oklahoma has a better O-Line, RB's, WR's as a whole (Harvin is the best on either team) and QB I would call a push or slight edge to Bradford.Comment -

#12How many Oklahoma games have you watched? My guess is maybe two. If Oklahoma's defense is anything, it's overly aggressive. They are #1 in the nation in turnover margin and #3 in the nation in sacks.

I actually watched almost every Oklahoma game. And just about all Florida games. And from what I see I see Florida winning this game.Comment -

#13No it was'nt like that. I just want you to know that I dont believe Oklahoma will have enough defense to win a Championship. Oklahoma St. hung a alot of points on them. People may say well the BIG 12 have great QB'S, but that want win you a championship. If Oklahoma St. can hang over 40 on you than Florida will hang 50! Now you add Florida defense who have 4.2 and 4.3 speed in the secondary, it will be hell for Oklahoma.

#14Both teams have players that run in 4.2 - 4.3 range on D. As far as Stoops record in BCS games I can't argue. The '03 game vs LSU was a good hard fought battle they came up on the wrong side of. In '04 USC kicked all of Sooner Nation square in the nuts. I still hate them for it. The '06 Fiesta against Boise St was an all-time classic that required three crazy trick plays that all happened to work. Last yeas Fiesta vs W.Virginia was disappointing but Oklahoma did have 4 premier players out that game with injuries. How would LSU have held up against Ohio St. without their #1 WR, #1 DT, #1 RB, and #1 DB?We still would have kicked there ass!!
Last year we were going 5 deep at running back. And our #1 reciever was hurt basically the whole year anyway, and our #1 DB was out Steltz with a arm injury, and Dorsey our #1 DT was playing. I think the only thing that woul dof hurted us was the DTComment -
