    2006 Auburn Football Breakdown
auburn has had an offseason accidemics scandel involving some of there football players. not sure how this might effect there season or not, but we better factor this info in anyways.

the tigers have 5 returning starters on offense including junior QB brandon cox, who returns to try and lead them to the SEC divison title. he does indeed have a tough task though, because it's going to be very hard to replace those 3 WR's they lost last year.

on the defensive side of the ball the tigers have 6 returning starters anchored by quinten groves and will herring. auburn will have alot of trouble on there defensive line this year, because of graduations.

    heres this years auburn's schedule:

Saturday, Sep. 2 Washington State Auburn, AL
Saturday, Sept. 9 at Mississippi State Starkville, MS
Saturday, Sept. 16 LSU Auburn, AL TBA
Saturday, Sept. 23 Buffalo Auburn, AL
Thursday, Sept. 28 at South Carolina Columbia, SC
Saturday, Oct. 7 Arkansas Auburn, AL
Saturday, Oct. 14 Florida Auburn, AL
Saturday, Oct. 21 Tulane Auburn, AL
Saturday, Oct. 28 at Ole Miss Oxford, MS
Saturday, Nov. 4 Arkansas Sate Auburn, AL
Saturday, Nov. 11 Georgia Auburn, AL
Saturday, Nov. 18 at Alabama Tuscaloosa, AL
my projection for the tigers is 7-5

Your projection is accurate. They'll be losing a bowl game before 2007 arrives.

Georgia, LSU, Florida all play at auburn this year, and it still won't matter. there talent level is ranked at like 95-100 range, and that just ain't gonna cut it in the SEC.

Hahaha. Auburn is a top 5 team, and will win at least 10 games.

And let me just say, I don't think Auburn is a great team by any means. But, they do have a very good defense, and the best QB/RB combination in the conference.
The reason I say 7-5 is ridiculous is that Auburn will be favored in every single game they play this season. Obviously the favorite doesn't win every game, but I would be very surprised if the Tigers go any worse than 9-3.

I'd feel really comfortable taking the under on this team if 8 was the number.

i think under 9.5 is very generous especially at +117

                Over 9.5 wins -133
                Under 9.5 wins +117
