Okay, so all week I've been ranting on why I think Florida is the better team, and as I phoned my plays into my bookie today it hit me like a ton of bricks. Why I am I giving points in one of the most anticipated games of the year? Why am I giving points when I know the winner of the SEC the last 6 years has been the squad with the best defense? Why am I giving double digits when I know for a fact that Bama can control both sides of the line and that's usually what wins football games? Well...this is a first...I am officially changing my pick and going the other way and backing Alabama this weekend. I don't know if it's the right play or not, or if I'm shooting myself in the thigh (Plaxico), but I just can't bring myself to give all those points in this kind of a game. I've also been listening all week to everyone stroking Florida (I was one of them) including a lot of media people. You know that Alabama team has heard it too. I'd like to know if anyone else has ever done this and how it worked out. I mean, feeling strongly about a pick and thinking about it all week, only to go the other way.

for this...oh well. If it pays off and the Tide covers, I'll feel much better about it.
