One of my best plays of the bowl season: Ole Miss Black Bears

I've been waiting for this game all bowl season. I'm rolling everything up on this game.

Ole Miss and Pitt are fairly evenly matched but I give OM special teams and rushing edges. Pitt's defense is rather good but OM has speed on offense. OM defense is suspect but they will stop the run and make Pitt throw the ball (which they've done fairly well this year). But if you can't establish the run, eventually you're going to force throws and I think Sunseri will give up a few gifts even though I think he's only had 2 all year. Stop Graham and leave it to Sunseri to beat you. Can he do it? Absolutely. Will he do it tomorrow? I don't think so.

I expect 60,000 OM fans tomorrow and they will be jacked up for this one giving OM an emotional edge. A loud crowd may rattle Sunseri and if Graham isn't clicking the pressure may mount. Pitt has actually been very solid the 2nd half of the season and their losses have been very close to some quality teams but so has OM with the exception of the UGA game they let get out of hand. I think we're going to see some quick hitting plays and this game should also go over 53.5

The game should be fairly close but OM will tack on a couple late scores to seal the cover. 34 - 23 is my prediction.

On the opposite here so that bodes well for you, GL though man. I just think that Ole Miss has a bright future and Bo is banged up so I think the coach will take it easy but I could be completely wrong and they come out firing. He said they didn't practice until like the 17th because he was out on recruiting trips so I see them worrying about the future. Having a good QB for two more years and not injuring his shoulder anymore to jeopardize the future should be a priority while it's Tino's last game and Pitt finally is playing with their coach and not an interim in a bowl game. Who knows though, I'm lost this bowl season.

The game should be close and Graham should have a great day. Shell is a beast and worries me more than Graham BUT I think Sunseri will try too much and that will be the downfall. I think Ole Miss will be more charged up for this game as well which can't be discounted. Ole Miss is young but they are spunky. They should be a good play for the first half in this one as well. Pitt's game depends on the run and OM has some space eaters on the line and LB'ers that can clean it up. This should be an exciting game, one of the better matchups...

It wouldn't surprise me if either team wins. But if I had to choose one team, I would choose Pitt.

This is a "who handles the layoff better" play. Who handles the pressure. I'm fading Sunseri and Graham (who's not playing/ out with a hammy).

Good call once again Mac, glad to see we were right about this game. Nice to see the SEC dominate once again. Unlike a lot of these other bowl games, the Rebels clearly came to play today and wanted to impress heir fans, give them something to look forward to next year.

Nice job, but there was a bit of good luck for you with Graham out. Had we all known he was out well ahead of time, I think the spread would have been different (although Ole Miss would have still covered). I think the lesson learned is to perhaps bet right before kickoff, in case the announcers declare a surprise injury.

I should have attacked betting on Ole Miss before kickoff, but my money is locked up with Seahawks.
