    Cotton Bowl
You'll see me more in the NBA room, since I like betting NBA more, but tonight I see a nice edge. Everyone has seen the greatness of Johnny Manziel, and the huge surprise A&M has been in the SEC. That's the idea in the public's heads, along with some impressive wins on the season, hence why the 3-4 spread for A&M.

Both offenses and defenses have been very similar this season in production. I understand that A&M plays in the tough SEC, but I can tell you that Oklahoma’s Defense is better this year than in recent years. They only give less than 2 points more per game than A&M, yet have played some of the top offenses in the country. Texas A&M sits at 3rd on offense with 552 yards per game, and 62nd on defense with 406 yards per page, but let’s break that down a bit.

Against Louisiana Tech they had 678 yards of offense, and gave up 615 yards on defense
Against SMU they had 605 yards of total offense, and gave up 309 yards on defense
Against Arkansas they had 716 yards on offense, and gave up 515 yards on defense
Against Missouri they had 647 total yards of offense, and gave up 465 yards on defense
Against Sam Houston State they had 527 yards of offense, and gave up 382 yards on defense

Now I understand this isn’t the total picture but it’s certainly enough to say that A&M gives up yards against mediocre offenses and a lot of yards to good offenses. Is it just me, or do the stats from the above games look like a team from the Big 12. Get a lot and give up a lot. Texas A&M, while in the SEC this year scheduled quite easy and played offense and defense like they belonged in the Big 12, even though they moved to the SEC.

I’m pretty sure Oklahoma is sick and tired about hearing how piss poor the Big 12 is and that A&M moved out of it and was successful in the SEC. These two teams are very similar in offense and defense and this line should be pick. I’m going with Oklahoma who has beaten Texas A&M 8 of their last 9, and who has a chance to prove tonight that though they are not in the SEC, they are a better team than Texas A&M. Best of luck to however you play it.
