WVU losing their center is huge and I was already confident Cuse would win before that. We lose one of our LB's for who knows how long during the game but the backup is plenty capable and we lose 3rd string RB Moore. Moore is a beast but we'll be fine without him. The Syracuse defense has dominated Geno the past two years and now they have an explosive offense to go with it. I put my money where my mouth is, they ain't losing.

THis reminds me of the UCLA VS BAYLOR game. High power passing offense that is hard to stop. Cuse aint that good IMO. Geno and Austin will have a field day. I thought this line would be -7 to -9.5, very low line.

Trust me I don't bet on Syracuse football with my heart. I've bet on them this year 4 times I think. Northwestern, Minnesota, Connecticut, and Mizzou. Got lucky and won by .5 with Northwestern with the points and then lost on Minnesota. I don't bet on them if I don't have a good feeling so this really is from my head not my heart but I can understand it looking the other way for sure. I know my team and feel like I have a good feel on WVU as well so I'm confident this will pay off.

His mission was probably to win the Heisman and win the Big 12, now he's in the shitty Pinstripe Bowl against Syracuse. I'm sure he doesn't want to go out a loser and he wants to impress scouts but that may make him press the issue even more and he's obviously disappointed to be playing here. Syracuse on the other hand is glad to be there and will be playing their hardest so no worries about motivation with them. GL with your bets fellas, I'll stop trying to talk people into it.

Don't think the spread ever hits 3, stays at 3.5 and 4 at some places, but could be wrong as I usually am when it comes to lines. With the moneyline I think most places will close at +145 to +150 tops. Smart money knows.

Syracuse is the right play, geno has never beaten the orange as a starter. Cuse is right on, good spot for cuse, playing at a basically home crowd, orange takes care of business tomm in the 3inch snow.

I believe has started over 50 games in his career and is a senior who has played all year and is out because of academics. It's a big loss.


He's got 50 starts in his 4 years, has missed 8 snaps this year and was All Big-12 2nd team.

If you take in account the WVU soft D, this line is spot on. The Orange have a good QB and some Wr's that are going to give WVU some trouble. Teased The Orange up to 9. See a close game.

excellent post and totally agree. snow will make things a little wet (also doesn't help that this is a baseball stadium, so not necessarily built for winter football), but that's as bad for the defense as the offenses, esp when there are as many shaky defenders as in this game. the offenses know where they are going, they have better athletes here, and wind shouldn't hinder passing too much.

West Virginia had a tougher schedule. Both teams have hardly any quality wins. West Virginia beat Baylor and cuse beat Louisville . Cuse lost to a few mediocre teams. You should of taken the points, you might of needed them.
