This game means nothing to Vandy, and they might still be hung over after clinching first bowl berth in like forever last week.

Tennessee might come to play this week, since they have nothing else to play for this year except for beating their state rivals, especially with Vandy having apparently passed them on the totem pole.

A victory in their last home game of 2008 Saturday against 3-7 Tennessee will assure Vandy of a winning season, as well as give it a chance to get to a second-tier bowl. Of course, any bowl will be fine with this bunch after not playing in one since 1982.

“We celebrated a pretty big win in Lexington Saturday,” coach Bobby Johnson said of the Commodores’ 31-24 triumph at Kentucky. “We’re not going to take a vacation now that we have six wins, because our football team knows we can improve in a lot of areas.”

“We’re no way near being satisfied by six wins,” strong safety Reshard Langford said. “We’re still hungry.”

          Let's Go Vandy!!
It's time to start getting some wins in this series!!

Tennessee is not holding back. Phillip is playing his last few games and will not be trying to give experience to the young players for next year. He is playing whoever gives him the best chance to win.

Vandy also wants this win bad. They're happy with a small bowl but they are aiming for much higher.

This game is a coin flip in my book. Good luck guys!

And Tenn. has been holding back up to this point. Their horrible season is over...I hate going against RLM but can you actually put your money on Tenn?
