GLuck Flaghunter. I've looked at that Rutgers game a few different times and just can't seem to pull the trigger. OleMiss and NCSt are solid plays. Still looking at the Rice game...I know guru really likes it.

Nice.But how bout some Rice!!Brown rice-white rice-yellow rice.Ilove Rice!!!The line is now 9.5-10.I'm surprised that it hasn't went up any higher than this.Caught it at 8 when it first came out.I just checked out vegas dave's picks and he likes Rice as well and pointed out that the Herd just can't shoot it out with them reason.Should I get worried that vegas dave likes them?????HAHAHA!!!!!Just kidding vegas dave.GL MSU!!

Rice-9 over Marshall.Hope I'm not irritating you about this game but for me,this is right up there with my strongest games of the year.Here's a little write up on this one.
Bye weeks can bring out the best and worse in football teams and Marshall and Rice offer great examples of that.The Thundering Herd has had a good game,a so-so game and a bad game coming off a bye week or longer than normal time between games this season.The OWLS have had a couple of good games offensively but not so good games defensively in those situations.The Thundering Herd is 1-2 coming off bye weeks or longer than normal time between games.Marshall had 14 days to prepare for UAB(23-21 loss),nine days for HOUSTON(37-23 win)at home and 10 days for East Carolina(19-16 loss in OT) in a three game stretch over the past two months.The OWLS on the other hand,are 2-0 in those situations.Rice had 7 days to prepare for Memphis(42-35 win)and 13 days to prepare for SMISS(45-40 win).Rice(7-3)has had 13 days to prepare for Marshall.The home field adv is huge for the OWLS here+Marshall has shown in the past that they just can't hang against the pass happy attacks.Definitely not trying to sway you MSU.Just trying to give some good feed on this matchup.Gluck!
