USC senior QB Matt Barkley will not start Saturday's game against Notre Dame due to an AC sprain in his shoulder.
Redshirt Freshman Max Wittek will start in his place. Head coach Lane Kiffin did not elaborate on if Barkley is available as a reserve, but we doubt it.
