With Basketball approaching and generally my best sport of the year I figured I would start a thread. I have never actually tracked my plays via a thread before and don't claim to be some hot shot capper. I do however generally win more games than I lose. With that being said I usually bet on quite a few games which is a losing strategy. I mostly bet on games for the entertainment value it provides more so than the financial side. Of course I hate the weeks in which I pay in but it is so incredibly fun to pick up an envelope after a successful week of wagers.
I use a mixture of information when choosing my selections. I will of course use my own thoughts and knowledge but will also mix that with the thoughts of some other cappers I trust. I also take into consideration the public play, this rarely will entirely sway me one way or another though. One thing that I almost never take into consideration is late action line movements. I think they are over hyped not to mention the fact that it is impossible to know what they always mean.
I also bet on almost every sport but Basketball is without a doubt my best.
Haven't made a preseason NBA pick because after all it is pre season but as a pre curser to the weekend am going to dabble tonight.
