Even after the replay, I knew they wouldn't call that a touchdown. I knew the stupid replay ref would claim the ball was coming out, even though both angles showed the defender's knee knocked it out after it crossed. And as McDonough said, the tip of the ball was also clearly over even before the defender's knee came close to the ball.
The other thing, how long did that clown look at the replay? Was only about 30 seconds. Yet they take 5 minutes on a pass catch on the sideline in the first quarter.Comment -

After the game, referee John O'Neill said in a statement, ''The ruling on the field was a fumble short of the goal line. It went to replay and the replay official said the play stood based on the views he had. It's ultimately his decision.''
Pelini said it helped that the officials initially ruled it a fumble.
''You got to have indisputable evidence to overrule it,'' he said. ''Something that bang-bang, usually it ends up going however they rule it on the field. We were kind of fortunate.''
McGloin said: ''We're not going to get that call here. We're not going to get that call ever actually, against any team. It doesn't matter who the refs are... It's us against the world and we're not going to get those calls in these types of games.''Comment -
DISGUSTING how the line judge sees the ball cross the plane and does jack-shit.
I hate Penn State like everybody else, and normally I would cheer them losing any way possible. But when my money is on the line...I want a fair game. Half the football is in the damn end zone before the knee even touches it.
