LT I believe you were on Miami (Ohio) last week spread/money and they won straight up knocking off Ohio(23). Whats your thoughts, this week on em at Buffalo? I think the +3.5 is a gift and the books missed this one.

last week's toledo vs. buffalo gift didn't work out so well. and i really liked that idea independent of this board (many on this board liked it too). gotta look more into miami-ohio

Crazy thing is, this line keeps adding points in their favor.....I pulled the trigger at +3.5 though in case it creeps south again, can't stand to take another push at +3 this week.

I play games wherever I think I see value, and it is true that happens more often in low profile games than in marquee games that are heavily bet.

Reasoning behind duke? They have gotten crushed each time they've stepped up a level in competition. 50-13 vs Stanford, 41-20 vs va tech and 41-7 vs fsu.

All three of those games were on the road though and their defensive line is good enough to put pressure on Boyd, much like Va Tech did when they forced him into his worst game of the year two weeks ago.

They did beat UNC at home though. UNC is on the same level, if not better than Virginia Tech.

UNC did not play well in that game at all. My main concern is Duke keeping pace with Clemson who has tremendous athletic ability. No doubt that Duke is an improved team this year but, because of systematic disadvantages, they simply cannot recruit the kind of athletes that Clemson has at all spots on the field. Duke will have to score a lot in this game to cover the spread. If they do come out and their offense plays like it did against UNC they will have a chance. If the offense plays like they did against the bigger name teams Clemson could blow this one open.

LT, do you think k state is overvalued here? Oklahoma state has had similar lines against similar teams. Hard to believe the books were wrong on k state all year. Both played Kansas earlier, take a lot at those spreads

No I think they are undervalued, I have them winning by about 14. I think Oklahoma State is the overrated team, I just don't think they are that good. Texas Tech is better than OSU and look what K-St did to them.

I think we find out alot this week about both teams. Think I'll sit it out but osu is really loved by oddsmakers it seems. Line should be around -4 if it was before the wv game. Tough game

K-St at W-Va may have been bet of the year, W Va was grossly overvalued at the time. Doubt this line ever would have been 4, maybe -7. And that number would have underrated K-State and overrated OK St, Maybe its just me but I would make the actual current line the line on this game on a neutral field, I just don't get the OK State love

Going by common opponents spread, I came up with the teams being very even. Have to give a couple points to Ksu for playing better ats so i made this game around 6.5 or so
