Would appreciate any quality input on this weeks Florida/Missouri game, as the early line on Vegasinsider is Florida -16. This is a home game for Florida.

#14Probably the biggest letdown spot of the year. Florida national title hope squandered, now laying a huge number to a NOW underrated Mizzou squad. Do the math.Comment -

#15This is the reason I posted the thread, to gain others opinions. I am going to disagree with you, as I feel Florida is going to come out and make a statement, as I am sure the coaching staff is going to be on there assses all week.Comment -

#20Mizzou's QB has been out for the past 3-4 weeks, so they have looked terrible. They are not bad @ all.
James Franklin is back, and will be the better QB in the game.Comment -

Franklin actually played against Kentucky last week, just very restricted play.
Pinkel said Franklin went in with "great restrictions" to run an offense that kept it basic. His first five plays were runs with Missouri totaling 34 yards, and he was 6 for 9 overall for a paltry 16 yards, and had no carries. HannibalComment -

#24I agree 100%. Highly ranked teams that lose there 1st game of the season generally play down the following week, see South Carolina's performance against Florida 2 weeks ago after they lost there 1st game as an example.Comment -

#28Running with Oregon, Georgia Tech, and San Jose State, and here is some links why I love these games so much, with the exception of Oregon, who I think is just much more talented than USC, better coached, and is on a mission to make a statement to get to the championship game. Plus they are going to be motivated just because it is USC. San Jose State averages over 30 points a game, as you can see below, and now with Blackman suspended for Idaho, I see them having problems scoring any points, as he was the heart and soul of there offense, and even with him, they were averaging only 16 points a game, while giving up 42 points a game on the average.
As always, thank you for your input CBASS, as it is always very much appreciated!

#29W/ you on Oregon & GT. Fresno. The rest is TBD.
Threads where you consider a game & maybe talk yourself out of it are 1000x more useful than "This Team is a Lock! - Everybody Please Follow Me"

#35If UF turns the ball over 6 times again they might lose to Mizzou too.
UF's passing game is severely lacking. Pease and Muschamp don't trust Driskel enough to open the playbook. Their offense is too predictable and one dimensional to risk betting a large line like this one. UF might not score 16??? Mizzou is horrible but if they were watching the UGA game, you do what they did. Stack 8/9 in the box and dare UF to beat you through the air. Driskel may not be ready yet.Comment
