One question comes to mind, if you just starting with ncaa is it a good idea to play 8-team all favs parlay?

learn how to sift through all the morons and big mouths....there are a lot of them here....probably more than any other capping site.....They like to use caps, locks, all-ins, guarantees, etc..... these are mostly kids going through puberty that can't get laid....Stay away from these clowns.....also one you get about 3 or 4 posts into a thread and they are already yelling and hollering back and forth about how the other person sucks as betting - just close thread at that point - not worth it to go through it at that point - you're wasting you're time....

eventually you should know some good cappers here....good luck sifting through the garbage

Be more effective in how you gather information.

Rather than post a list of 15 favs and ask for general opinions, try searching for threads that have the games you've capped in the subject line. There are and will be many of these threads. If you don't see one, start one.

Read through 'em. Find an opinion or two that doesn't sound ridiculous, possibly even insightful, and ask that particular poster a follow-up question. Or ask a more specific question to the board.

You'll figure out which posters' opinions you respect & look in on their threads. Don't blindly tail anyone. Continue capping, and getting ideas for what games to cap.
