couldn't believe how weak undefeated mississippi state is on the power ratings? saw 24 and 43 first two places i looked. i guess it would help if auburn was a good team this year as that win has little value. really only beaten tennessee (who has also been a disappointment but nothing like auburn)

anyway, was very surprised so thought i would share.

Who has bama played..besides a bad michigan team? Bama has too much depth though. Im a state fan and feel bama pulls away 4th quarted (if we make it that long) we do traditionally play bama close. I took the points but only puy $20 on it. We are by far the best team they will have played thus far. The line is high in my opinion bc vegas is trying to get even money.

thanks, good insight... i saw a major cnnsi article on this 90 seconds after i started this thread.... it just feels like close game and all the SEC teams from florida to LSU in the states along the gulf of mexico have tons of in-state talent so i don't think alabama can simply dominate them. didn't alabama beat mississippi at least. they have great power rating from my limited inquiries.

Are you really calling beating the ole miss black bears a good win lol. Alabama is good and will beat us and i will be proud to be 7-1 with a loss to bama. But will bama cover thats the question.

oops, 7th was ole miss' offensive rating. seemed too high for their overall rating. in the 40's on defense. and i think 33rd or something similar on sagarin.

so i was mistaken. decent win though.
