This is probably one of Stoop's worst OU teams and they will still crush Notre Dame. That's how much better of a program OU has.

Sooners have beat ND once in 9 tries. Doc's mood is going to be very different next week when you guys lose your houses on OK.

After looking at this game more closely, it's a no bet for me. I still wouldn't be surprised by an OK blowout, but I am not gonna lay 10.5. Line seems about right.

If, and it's a BIG if, this game were played in South Bend, I'd take Notre Dame and the points. This game, however, is being played in Oklahoma. I just can't see ND slowing down Oklahoma's offense. Credit ND for running the gauntlet, but OU is a different beast. My gut screams at me that this game will end up like the Texas @ OU game. Notre Dame better hope that Golson starts at QB, because Reese will get picked off if he keeps throwing up those Hail Mary wobbly ducks to his receivers.

              Leprechaun Posers...

After watching ND in action I would have to say that OU will hand out one tremendous bitch slap ! Oh and that no rushing TD stat.. LoL That ends.

Ps.. USC will also bludgeon the Leprechauns..

The media has pumped up ND so much that it's hard for sane folks to pull the trigger. I've found myself second guessing as well and a lot of background data does give credence to ND BUT I always have to fall back on my eye and smell test. My eyes tell me that OU has faster overall team spead, has better playmakers and is physically tougher. That smells like a beat down despite Dr. Lou.

OU has caused every QB that they have faced to have their worst Completion % & Ratings #'s ALL Year. With ND QB's having a below 50% completion rating against stiff good Competition as is, man this one won't be close OU 38-10

Some of you are under estimating Bob Diaco and great job he does. Keep calling ND's defense overrated if you want...they will show up with scheme that will keep them in the ballgame. Also Kelly isnt stupid he will run the ball....ND has a loaded backfield.

There's not a single team in the top 10 BCS rankings that I wouldn't take over ND. I love how people use the "Kansas St showed how to beat the Sooners" theory. That was the first loss in the Bob Stoops era to a ranked team at home and if you think he is going to let this game stay close and not learn from the K St game.... you obviously shouldn't be betting this game at all. ND forced 6 turnovers against a one dimensional Michigan team and squeeked out a 7 pt win. The home field advantage in Norman is too big for ND to overcome and they simply don't have the offense to compete within 10 points of the Sooners. Lay the points and count your cash by the end of the 3rd qtr. 34-14 OU rolls.

If this game were at home with long grass on the field, you might have a point, but this game will be played in Oklahoma. BYU had no trouble moving the ball down field and neither did Stanford. Had Notre Dame obliterated those two schools, I'd take the points, but the fact is that they just squeaked by against two teams that are average on offense.

Oklahoma is a different can of words. If Oklahoma's play makers get the ball in open space it's over for the Irish. While the Irish may be able to contain the run, I just don't see them being able to defend sideline to sideline. I think Oklahoma dinks and dunks downfield for the first half and then explodes for BIG plays in the second half.

Notre Dame better start Golson at QB because Reese won't last long against the Sooners. This game will be closer to the Texas @ Oklahoma game than the Byu @ Notre Dame game.

Notre Dame is going to need both quarterbacks, as it is quite possible that both will get knocked out of the game! Oklahoma is going to bring it in front of a wild and fired up Sooner crowd! Go Soonerssssss!

Going to be extremely funny when the exact opposite happens on saturday...you are giving too much credit to OK..they havent played anyone!!..look at who ND has done against stiff defenese this year running the ball!!!..OK cant stop the run at all that was against weak lower ranking rushing teams. Kelly knows this and they will run the ball sat to keep them in the game....of course OK has tons of speed but this isnt Madden either lol....

I'm an OU alumni and I have said all year that this isn't a great team by Stoop's standards.

In addition, I rarely come on here and say my team is going to win easily. It's bad karma and make me look like a biased homer.

With that said, OU will win easily Saturday. Notre Dame is vastly overrated and has barely been beating unranked Big 10 teams and BYU. I realize OU lost to K-State at home this year, but that was the first home loss to a ranked team in 12 years. OU usually annihilates top 10 teams at home.

There is a reason the line started at double digits and continues to climb higher despite Notre Dame being undefeated and ranked in the top 5. The line screams blow out.

Just alot of unknowns in this one...10 points is alot or at least seems that way with the Defense ND has been playing. Now the question is was that a "real" defense we have been seeing or for show. The only reason this is an unknown is because Oklahoma hasnt really beaten anyone that is worth anything and struggled early in the year with a Senior lead QB. Everyone know ND would be solid but struggle on offense with a freshman QB. ND will be much easier to cap after this game win or lose.

I agree with that and to be honest, I didn't think Notre Dame would be undefeated heading into this game. ABC has to love that angle.
