    Worst line of the day
Was it Clemson -7? (down from a -9.5 open, wins by 21 over a team they curbed stomped in the ACC championship game a year ago)

Was it Rutgers -3.5? (ML plummeted 40 cents and the Scarlets still win by 25)

Was it Michigan -9? (won on a last-second FG against a team they hadn't beaten in five years)

Was it Nebraska -7? (late steam on Nebraska despite the fact that NW won in Lincoln a year ago and was on its home field)

Was it West Virginia -3? (Top-5 team against an WVU squad that was exposed last week against TT)

Was it South Carolina +3.5? (road-weary SC with its banged up stud RB against a Top-5 defense on the road and catching only a little over a FG)

Was it Iowa -1? (books tried to adjust the line accordingly, but to no avail. Hawks haven't beaten or faced anyone, while Penn State had won four straight)

Was it Florida State -21? (favored by three TD's on the road in a rivalry game?)

Just some weird lines today. Bad lines. I did a double-take with a lot of these, but figured the books knew what they were doing and had the line at a certain place for a reason. Guess not.

North Carolina -11 at Duke was a horrible line imo.

I actually thought the line was way too far off, I could not see UNC at anything over -7. Then the line movement actually went towards UNC. I did not bet it because I could not see any reason for the line and just thought I was crazy and missing something.

In hindsight WV being favored was the worst line...

No, in hindsight, ORE -7.5 was the worst line.

This is just a discussion thread about today's lines. If you have nothing to contribute (which you never do), why bother responding?

Fresno St -17 versus Wyoming looks pretty bad. Fresno St had it covered in the first few minutes of the game 21-0 and led 35-0 at half.

Yep. San Jose State vs. UTSA as well. Also, Northern Illinois at Akron.

                      Stanford -2
                      Florida -3.5
                      Oregon -8

I think by definition, you have to go with the undervalued favourites when talking about which lines were the most mispriced. You can't blame the books for asking people to buy FSU -21 if the market will pay the price. That's just good business on the part of the books. But to take the team that you're declaring to be the better team and offer a bargain price on them, I think you have to call that a mistake. All of these games were over by halftime, if not before. All of the matchups were dramatized as competitive games, but they weren't even close.

You could tentatively add Rutgers and Clemson, but it took both of them some time to wear their opponents down, whereas the four listed dominated from the opening kickoff.

nebraska could have won by 21, this is not exaggerating, outgained northwestern totally and if not for turnovers and unbelievably bad punts, norhtwestern couldnt get anything going

At least the right team was favored.

I'm going to with the Iowa line. Why would Iowa be favored?
