College football make a special division for elite programs
    what happened to college football?

Alabama favored by 21 points on the road at Tennessee? this used to be a good rivalry

ohio state favored by 18 over purdue? i remember when those used to be good games

oregon winning on the road by 40 points at Arizona State???

what happened to college football? it's not even remotely entertaining anymore

i like it b/c i like to bet on it. but from an entertainment prospective it sucks

they should take the top 50 programs and have them only play each other.

Site First Meeting Last Meeting Games Win % Wins Losses Ties Average Score

In the last 20 years, Ohio state is 7-0 at home against Purdue, with an average winning margin of 22 points. If that doesnt indicate competitiveness, I dont know what does.

It was rumored in the near future if you are not part of one of the top 5 conferences you will be demoted to FCS..... That does not really help your examples as all those games would still exist. I think you are looking for the top 15 programs only because your examples all the teams you gave are top 50 teams.
