Which "known cappers"? Ones whose opinion you respect & are nervous you disagree with? I'm on Alabama like the rest of the public. Dunno about 20 but teased 'em heavy w/ another favorite.
Also took TN +30. I like both sides.

According to thespread, 70% of the public is on the Tide to roll. Hardly shocking. Why do you have the impression TN is getting "sooooooo much respect" from the public? Your select few well known unnamed cappers aren't representative of public opinion.

honestly the fact they were only -21.5 at mizzou who might as well be little sisters of the poor in the sec makes me think they laying to many here,,,obviously mizzou line was short and that was a easy fukkin play but vols are much better than mizzou (offensively at least) and line not reflecting that...really no interest getting in the way of bama just thought it strange line almost as high as it was against a lesser team last week..

Exactly, love the tide.. However, there is a loooong history amongst those 2 schools. A rivalry if you will. Nothing they would love better than beat Alabama. Not to mention there will be 100,000 screaming drunk vols fans at the game. I don't feel Tenny will pull upset here, but would not be shocked if this game is closer and in doubt late. This is probably Alabama's most challenging game thus far this season. Maybe not saying much because vols are not world beaters. I wont bet this game.

I'm w/ ya on the history lyon. When I was a kid, we used to be excused from school for any Vols games that fell during the week. Was a 2 hour drive & with tailgating, had to make a day of it. Can't recall it getting any more heated than a bama game though.

Mizzou is not a lesser team compared to UT. UT has the better offense, and Mizzou has the better defense. Overall, the teams are comparable at this point (given the injuries Missouri's dealing with).

i did say "offensively at least", defensively i cant really speak with great knowledge on vols, from what ive seen it isnt good but then again mizzou d is solid but way undersized to be playing in this conf so i mean rating them is relative,,,can they play with some spread teams and cause them problems? absolutely but playing against pro style punishing attacks mizzou d is over matched... i have no idea if vols are any more capable in this aspect but honestly i cant imagine it much worse....

Tenn always tries to play bama hard but always gets spanked. Vols played well against Georgia but that's until I saw how shitty their d was against South Carolina.

Not sure what you mean by always. UT owned bama from 95 to 2006 and there is only 10 games separating the two all time, but I get your point.

The vols may not score many points, but let's be real about the teams bama has been shutting down. This will be the best offense the tide have faced so far this year.

With that being said, I am on bama including a couple of teasers at -7 and -10. It wouldn't shock me to see UT keep it within 3 tds though.

I feel pretty safe with my two teasers

Ive been a Bama fan all my life and this is almost always a closer game. I would be on Tenn +20 due to the respect of Coach Saban and Dueley for each other. Not gona be a blowout just because of that and the fact that Tenn is actually a decent team.

HA!!!!!!!!!!!,,,I started this thread a few days back,and was called names,knickers twisted??,Closer than you think,,,etc,etc,etc, WON by 31!!!! pts. PLEASE boys and girls,,a NON ranked team getting the public backing against #1 BAMA its a shame... ended about 38% of the public on this game dont know why?? it should have been about a 17% backing at most.. I play numbers and this game stood out to me for that reason and many more. ($850.00) thank you BAMA ROLLLL

Actually, I won both sides of my bets..... Bama -7.5, TN -33. Difference is, I didn't post a dramatic thread. Just looked in on yours.
