Offence/defence on the road for Hou very similar to the offence/defence for SMU at home, total yards per game very close, SMU forces more turnovers at home, power of opponents played almost the same, seems like getting 5 points at home is a possible play here.

Just remember those turnovers were against SFA and TCU in the pouring down rain. I know because I was at the games. I have season tickets because my daughter goes there. SMU hasn't looked good all year, it's like June Jones has given up! Also Garrett Gilbert is not a good QB! WR also drop a lot of passes! Be careful on taking SMU!

I just took Houston -5.5 myself. It just looks to me like they've hit a stride winning 3 in a row, and SMU just lost to Tulane and Garrett Gilbert is their QB if those things aren't demoralizing then I don't know what is. GL with your picks this week tho!

I like these. I've seen some of their games, and SMU is really bad. I feel ASU will keep up for perhaps the first half and some of the third quarter, then Oregon will pull away

SMU has a solid defense and coming off a horrible loss too Tulane. They also really hate UH with passion and they would like nothing more than to beat the crap out of us tomorrow.

But saying that, I really think UH has finally gotten there stride back. Piland and the receivers have been looking great in the last 3 games. Plus with a healthy Sims, I feel we will be able to move the ball at will against this SMU defense that allowed Tulane to score 27pts. UH has also beaten SMU the last 6 years. Maybe I'm being a homer, but I'm going UH and Oregon to cover. I will not submit my bet until game time though. I feel the public is going to bet heavily on SMU and ASU which will drop the line in my favor. Good luck to all!
