With the current spread and current total line currently says this game will be something like 38-18 Alabama.
Would you bet over 18 points by Tennessee if that team total was available?
I don't see Tennessee scoring less than 18 points in this spot it would seem based purely on how well they have played on offense so far this season. Over 18 seems like a decent bet

One interesting thing that has me questioning this play....

NO !!!! Vols haven't scored 18 pts against that Tide D in the last two games combined.

    78 -16 edge last TWO.

Tide defense Stout. Only surrendering 6.8 points per game last 13 lined games.

Any particular reason you think this could change?

Dont think 17-20 is out of the question. Im by no means a homer, this game wont be close but I expect Tennessee to be able to put a few scores on the board. The offense has been greatly overshadowed by how poor the defense is this year. Offensive line has improved greatly since last year and Cordarrelle Patterson has shown a knack for a big play when the ball hits his hands. That being said the Vols find new ways to embarass themselves weekly so being down 14-21 points after the first quarter and mailing it in the rest of the game isnt out of the realm of possibilities either. I expect Bama to score 40+ so keep an eye on the overall total.

A.J. McCarron has a meniscus tear in his right knee.

I missed the best number, but I'll gamble with 20 points at home to a team that typically plays 'Bama tough.

EDIT: So apparently McCarron's mother and cousin are both saying that the tear is "100% false". I'm not saying McCarron is going to be out in the game, but even if he does play, he won't be 100%.

If you'd bet this your better off betting the over, because you know Bama is gonna score.

Not hardly,I think 17 would be the absolute MAXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX,more like 10 and thats prolly with a turnover setting Tenn up in the Red zone field position, but with that being said > Alabama don't turn it over much! Bama wins 41-10 Good luck!

Tennessee catches Bama in a good spot, I say they score 20 points.

Solid info, Boss. I missed that and confirmed after looking at my scorebook.

Where are you seeing TT's posted this early? I thought it was a hypothetical question with estimate @ 18.

I can't see them at my book. Anyone know when they post TT's @ Heritage. Assumed day/night before games?
