Noob questions ahead.
Help me understand the Georgia/Kentucky line please?
I understand you have to look at certain stats (e.g. yards per carry, 3rd down conversion) & Georgia is a clear favorite coing off a bye week.
But, both teams played South Carolina. Georgia got beat by 28 and Kentucky by 21. With Georgia as a 28 point favorite, their performances against South Carolina don't seem to matter. Is it a mistake to look at how future competitors performed against the same team?? (All things being relatively equal, e.g. key players injured)
