Man, dems lots of points!...Tennessee is not that bad of a team and they are always tough in Knoxville!...Alabama is playing their second consecutive road game....My gut feeling is take the Vols and the points!...I can see the Crimson Tide winning this something like 31 - 21....Any thoughts or comments from my fellow degenerates?!

^^...good points on both sides of the argument but I'm still taking the points....this spread is way too high for a team that I think will come out ready to play...You also have to factor in that Vols head coach Derrick Dooley is on the proverbial "hot seat" and needs a win badly....or at least keep the game competitive and respectable....another factor is that Tennessee will be far and away the best and most well balanced offense Alabama has seen this year...The Vols are ranked #22 in the nation in passing with 299 yds per game and #43 in the country in rushing with 183 yds per game....Like I said, I predict a 31 - 21 type of victory for the crimson tide....I think worst case scenario would be a classic back door cover!....speaking of which, also keep in mind Alabama is just 3-3 ATS this year, so it's not like they are a lock to cover by any stretch of the imagination!..

The biggest problem is that Vol defense. They are horrible.
Hate to lay the wood on the road in SEC, but.
Bama defense is a beast and Vols defense are cupcakes. Not sure how Vols can score here without turnovers, trick plays, special teams. Can it happen ? Sure, but unlikely.
When you make this bet, ask yourself if Tenn. will be able to stop Alabama from scoring 40 + points? Will the Vols score more than a TD?

Saban doesn't really try to run up the score and Dooley used to be on his staff. With Bray slinging it around a back door cover could be in play.
