Tech D. Tech hasn't played a formidable opponent all year, Oklahoma pissed about the K.State game looking for revenge. Thoughts?

Not sure where you got the #1 rated Tech D info from. However, Tech has played a formidable opponent. Iowa state. They are a decent team always giving other big 12 opponents a run for their money. Holding Iowa state to 13 pts on the road is pretty impressive if you ask me. i know iowa state does not have a high powered offense but def a decent offense. On the other hand, Texas tech can put up points and now that there D has improved they will definitely make a game out of this one. Last yr in okla, tech won 41-38 with a horrible team that didn't even make a bowl game. If i were you i would def stay away from this one and play the under. weather in lubbock is gonna have heavy winds and 52 deg with chance of showers. If you end up playing this i would go with the the home dog. I have a gut feeling tech will pull the upset here. The jones is a tough place to play. and okla has historically had trouble winning there. this should be a very very close one. good luck

Also, OU didn't look to hot playing UTEP. yeah it was away. but i's UTEP man!!..First game of the season, if you are contending for nat'l champs you gotta outright own teams like that. OU is overrated this year. Tech with the upset. but who knows i could be wrong.

Texas Tech is the #1 in total defense this year.

A few things here. Tech currently does have the #1 total defense but they haven't faced a good offense yet.

Two, being an Oklahoma alumni I feel like I know my team pretty well and I think we are still overrated. This is probably the second worst team Stoops has had.

With that said, it's not like Texas Tech is Alabama. I expect a close game and would not be surprised if Texas Tech won.

I think a big difference in this game is the fact that Oklahoma has had to sit and stew in what was a loss to Kansas State for over a week. The mindset that Oklahoma maybe in isn't good.
