Need a Good Reason to Play the Virginia Tech Hokies

• The Hokies have won 23 straight road conference openers, including all eight against ACC foes

Another good reason you'd want to pick VT is if you love to see your money get flushed down on an inconsistent ACC team.

That VT offense is shakey as hell, I think they had to replace all their linemen from last year. UNC offensive looks capable of putting up big numbers on anyone outside of the SEC and Florida St in the ACC.

I was also impressed how UNC held together and pressed soo hard late to fight within 5 at UL, never giving up and dominating them physical late in that game. I think VT is a mediocre team with a solid defense, getting by on reputation.
