So Cal is 1-4, QB looked terrible last game against ASU and thier only 2.5 underdogs to 4-1 high flying UCLA that looks like it's not going to slow down any time soon. Is this a trap game?

New stadium, uh? Guess that just means they'll get mopped in their new stadium. There's a different cutlure at UCLA. No more silly mistakes we had come to associate with UCLA football. That's due to coaching. they're are disciplined this year, even with a freshman QB. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

This is a prime example of a trap game. UCLA is No. 4 in the country in total defense. That status is going to change eventually, once the Bruins run into the Pac-12's better defenses, but Cal's defense is not one of those. As for the Bears, they need much more from quarterback Zach Maynard, who completed only 9 of 28 passes last week. Yet Cal trailed Arizona State only 20-17 in the fourth quarter before giving up a touchdown drive, so this game should be closer than you might believe. UCLA 27, Cal 24.
