    Is Clemson -10 a Trap?
Georgia Tech is coming off a blowout loss that was at home against a pretty mediocre/bad team (maybe Middle Tenn. is alright, we will see against Monroe this week). But anyway Clemson is at home this game and they are obviously a much better team on paper and yet the line is at -10. Why isn't this line more like -14 or -17. Maybe Clemson is the play and I am just psyching myself out. But anyway...

Is the line this low because it is a conference game? Or because GT runs the ball and will be able to manage the clock, keeping it somewhat close? Does Clemsons Defense blow against the run? Any input would be appreciated.

As obvious as this sounds, if GT can get up a little early and control the ball they have a chance to cover. If they get down early, they're done. They're bordering on throwing in the towel and becoming an Arkansas. Big Paul has to rally the troops.

If they turn the ball over(Fumble) the game will be over quick. They will have to score 35 points to cover.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Clemson has a prolific offense and a not so bad defense. My only concern is how they fair against the option. But it should be onsided. I might jump on it. Waiting to see if it goes to 9.5

Yes, Clemson "blows" against the run. Great bounceback spot for Tech but a huge revenge game for Clemson. As a Clemson fan, I can't see any reason why the line should be more than 10.

That sounds like wishful thinking by a Georgia fan.

Thanks for the local insights. I just don't see G-tech keeping up with Clemson's scoring

I originally have G-tech in this one. It might change if the line drops to single digits. I know GT's season is poor but they don't want to see Clemson beat them either and end up winning the ACC. The game could get out of hand, but for some reason as of today at least I see a close contest. If the line moves up to +12 I'm in for sure, if it dips down to +8 I'm out.

Georgia Tech has won the last seven of eight against Clemson. I took Georgia Tech 10.5 .

Watkins is playing. Clemson doesn't do well against the option but has a new DC this year so it might be better. If GT fumbles the ball like last week Clemson will win by 35. GT plays more dirty than any team I can think of. Chop blocks everywhere. Last year was especially bad and they gave Clemson their first loss. I expect Clemson will be out for revenge this time and cover easily.

Its ACC Football, which means anyone can beat anyone anywhere, no matter what. Wildly inconsistent football conference.

Clemson is horrible against the run, and have been since last year. GT was bad last week, but maybe they were looking ahead to this conference game. Everyone will be on Clemson, but I think GT keeps this one close.

GT undoubtedly was looking ahead to this week's game last week,But I watched that GT/Mid TN st game and that Running back for MID Tn St is a BEAST,look for him at the next level, and Mid Tn St was pumped up for the game as well.GT has a history to playing down/and also UP to their competition. But I just don't think GT 's QB is playing anything close to last year, for whatever reason.I do see alot of Points in this game with Clemson pulling away in the 2nd half!
